95% of our students study both Russian and international school programs simultaneously at least until they receive their “Attestat ob osnovnom obshem obrazovanii” for Year 9. More than 70% of students take EGE, finish years 10 and 11 of Russian school and receive “Attestat o polnom obshem obrazovanii”.
Combination of international and Russian school programs overseas or in Russia requires changes in student’s approach to studying. Attending regular Russian school 5 days a week with 6-8 lessons per day is not possible. Students need to switch to alternative intensive or online programs, to allow themselves more time for the UK or the US programs. All administrative and logistical matters associated with such a shift are managed and supervised by Algorithm A* specialists. This approach allows us to achieve maximum efficiency, redistribute time between programs and utilize a synergy effect from studying common subjects in two programs – mathematics, sciences and languages.
All compulsory Russian school subjects are required
OGE (Year 9 completion exams) – Russian and Mathematics + 2 elective subjects (2016) + 3 (from June 2017)
Assessment according to schedule
Year 9 students need to pass four compulsory OGE exams, including Russian language, Mathematics and 2 elective subjects
